With an enviable client base including household names, developers, and investors, and housebuilders, we are looking to appoint a commercial property paralegal to join the division supporting out team of talented lawyers. This role is based in our Manchester office.

Most of our people choose to work in a hybrid fashion, working from home and attending our offices on occasion. Our offices are in Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton, and Taunton.
Responsibilities:
DAY TO DAY, YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE BY:
The work you will do will be varied and will involve assisting with commercial sales, purchases, leases, landlord and tenant management transactions, secured lending through to major urban regeneration and development projects. Clients include national and international investors, retailers, developers, house builders, high street banks and public sector organisations. This is a significant opportunity for someone to gain excellent experience. You will have plenty of client contact and be encouraged to participate in business development activities.
You will assist with title due diligence and reporting, including the submission collation and review of searches and enquiries; dealing with exchanges and completions, including completion statements, pre-completion searches and post-completion registration and tax formalities.
You will also have the opportunity to get involved with ad hoc projects (small and large) as and when these arise, with the assistance of other members of the team.
It is an integral part of this role that you comply with data security and all firm policies and procedures.
THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:
We are looking for someone with convincing aspirations for a career in commercial property law.
You will be able to demonstrate real potential, with the talent, ambition and interest to succeed in a career within this field. As a law or GDL graduate, you will already have a good technical grounding in the law with a keen interest in land law and real property.
We would prefer you to have at least 6 months’ experience as a paralegal, and if this experience is within the property sector this would be especially helpful. Whatever your experience, you will need excellent academics and strong communication skills to be considered.
The work requires self-motivation and the ability to work to demanding deadlines, so you’ll need to show us that you have initiative, drive and great organisational skills.
You will be a team player, relish helping others and be eager to learn. We expect you to be someone who takes pride in your work and who will provide a first-class support service to your fee earners, anticipating their needs in advance wherever possible, and paying meticulous attention to detail in all of your work.
