Description:
As a leading local law firm, we are looking for an experienced Paralegal (Bilingual) to join the Corporate Department in our Dubai office. As a Paralegal, you will play an integral role in supporting the corporate team.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering exceptional client service by efficiently communicating with government agencies through various channels. Facilitating company incorporation both onshore and offshore and drafting essential documents including but not limited to constitutional papers and powers of attorney.
Your ability to multitask, coupled with your attention to detail and organisational skills, will enable you to thrive in this role.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Laise with various Government Departments including Economic Departments (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), Free Zones, DIFC, ADGM, and other government authorities with regards formation/incorporation of companies both onshore and offshore in various jurisdictions.
- Drafting various types of company documents such as MOA’s, Amendment of MOA, Board Resolutions etc.
- Efficiently communicate with all Government Department including inter alia; DET, MOE, MOFA, MOHRE, DHA, MOH, Municipality, and other relevant authorities, through visits, calls, or emails as needed on matters as required by the corporate department.
- Conducting legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw and engaging with relevant governmental bodies to obtain necessary information as required by the corporate department.
- Drafting emails to update clients on progress of work.
- Preparing meeting minutes while participating in discussions with colleagues.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL REQUIRE:
- Excellent experience with regulatory procedures and documentation required for the formation, amendment, and de-registration of companies with various regulatory bodies, including the Economic Departments (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), Free Zones, DIFC, ADGM, and other government authorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity with legal consultancy or professional services firm.
- A highly organised and detail orientated approach to working.
- Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced with MS office suite skills including MS Teams, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A driving license is mandatory.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) both in English and Arabic.
