The pay ranges outlined below are presented in accordance with state-specific regulations. These ranges may differ in other areas and could be subject to variation based on regulatory minimum wage requirements. Actual pay rates will depend on factors such as position, location, level of experience, and applicable state or local minimum wage laws. If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the minimum indicated in the pay range below, the regulatory minimum wage will be the minimum rate applied.

• Assist attorneys with organizing, managing and maintaining a variety of matters.
• Communicate regularly with the team to inform them of the status of matters and projects.

• Utilize knowledge of contracts and experience to analyze data and situations to determine appropriate course of action in the best interest of Petco.
• Provide the business a summary of contract terms that require negotiations and provides point of negotiation.
• Provide support in contracts administration.
• Convey routine information to client representatives regarding legal and/or contractual issues associated with existing or proposed operational situations.
• Coordinate the gathering of information from various departments in the preparation of contracts, other legal documents, and in formulating company’s legal position.
• Independently review certain contracts and other legal documents to ensure necessary provisions are included.

• Assist in crafting and implementing litigation legal holds. Organize materials and responses to due diligence requests.
• Compile, review, and organize information, materials, documents, reports and evidence.
• Exercises discretion when interviewing custodians.

• Conduct routine and specific legal and factual information research and data compilation.
• Oversee managing of the intellectual property program.
