About the Role:
In this dynamic role, you will support our business objectives by assisting with a diverse range of legal matters related to the payments industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with a keen interest in the payments sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and draft various contracts across a wide range of supplies for the FinTech business, including SaaS, software licences, and payment method provider agreements.
  • Assist with negotiating commercial agreements, ensuring they align with our business goals and mitigate risk.
  • Provide support in conducting legal research and analysis on relevant regulations and industry trends within the payments sector.
  • Consult with colleagues on contractual and other legal matters, providing clear and practical advice.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams across different departments, including sales, product, and compliance, as well as external parties.
  • Utilise LegalTech in day-to-day work to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the legal landscape of the payments industry, including relevant case law and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of legal experience.
  • Experience in financial services is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to review and draft various types of commercial contracts with precision and attention to detail.
  • High sense of responsibility and a proactive approach to learning and growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as a valuable team member.
