Description:

I am keen to speak with Paralegals about joining a legal technology firm, assisting an investment banking client based in Central London. This will be an initial 6-month contract with the possibility to be taken on permanently.
The Paralegal will act as a Client Success Analyst and will the point of contact between the team working on the documentation reviews and the client. You will be expected to oversee a small team and be able to confidently relay information and updates throughout the process between your team and the client.
This role will offer a hybrid style of working with 3 days in the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements, particularly in relation to complex legal documentation.
  • Manage the client journey from client inception, project delivery, BAU, ensuring clear communication and a seamless, high level experience.
  • Utilise legal knowledge to support codification of complex agreements, such as ISDA (International Swaps and Derivatives Association) and GMRA (Global Master Repurchase Agreement).
  • Lead and manage a team of third-party resources, providing direction and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients to capture and address their specific requirements during implementation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years’ experience as a Paralegal in documentation review.
  • Experience in Legal Operations, Legal Onboarding, Contract Negotiation is vital.
  • Legal contract exposure - ISDA, CSA, GMRA, GMSLA etc.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Leadership experience is desired.
  • A degree in Law is desired.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
