Description:

Glen Raven Inc is recruiting for a Paralegal who will oversee the management of the corporate intellectual property portfolio and provide essential support to Glen Raven’s legal department. This role will involve maintaining and protecting the company’s intellectual property assets, conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree
  • Board Certification preferred
  • 5-10 years relevant experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally with high-level executive leadership and all facets of an international organization.
  • Comfortable communicating with and providing support to international affiliates
  • Discretion in dealing with confidential matters
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize and manage projects
  • Proficiency in all office-based technology
  • Ability to prioritize and support competing work requirements
  • Ability to quickly and effectively communicate orally and in writing. Strong computer skills in Microsoft environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the management of the corporate intellectual property portfolio, including supervising outside counsel and supporting the legal department in the implementation of brand protection strategies.
  • Assists the legal team through all phases of corporate transactions and all legal matters.
  • Drafts, files and manages various business entity documents for the company’s legal entities.
  • Maintains all legal records and supports and monitors electronic contract repository.
  • Oversees outside counsel billing.
  • Supports corporate compliance programs.
  • Provides administrative support to the Chief Legal Officer and corporate attorneys.
  • Supports other executives on an as-needed basis.
