JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

General Responsibilities:

  • Works independently and under the direction of attorneys in the Corporate Legal section to support corporate structure matters and related issues.
  • This paralegal position will have responsibility for a wide variety of corporate structure matters, including:
  • Preparing and filing formation, qualification, amendment, merger, dissolution, and other filings with secretaries of states and other regulatory authorities;
  • Preparing and reviewing corporate governance documents and resolutions;
  • Summarizing corporate transactions and organizational structure;
  • Logging and filing corporate entity records and information in paper and electronic systems;
  • Organizing, managing and responding to request for corporate structure data;
  • Conducting legal research; and
  • Coordinating with others in HCA Healthcare management, outside counsel, registered agents and government and regulatory authorities regarding corporate structure related matters.

Education & Experience:

  • 3 years of relevant experience or a law degree
  • Associate degree, paralegal certificate, or 6 years of experience as a paralegal

Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skills (oral and written); legal research experience; proven ability to simultaneously manage a high volume/variety of matters; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
