We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IP Paralegal to join our team at Danone Place Amsterdam! Danone Place Amsterdam is the global head office of our Specialized Nutrition Unit where the global strategies are rolled out to the rest of the world.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of IP matters, including legal formalities (powers of attorney, notarization, legalization), trademark, design, and domain name registrations, renewals, recordals, declarations, and evidence of use. You will also handle letters of authorization, office actions, screening searches, trademark and domain name monitoring, domain name transfers, and IP database updates.
Additionally, you will manage vendor creation, third-party vetting, invoice management, budget tracking, and respond to basic requests from global and local teams.

Your main interaction will be with:

• Internal : Marketing, Finance, local legal teams, IP team
• External : Law firms, notaries, embassies

As IP Paralegal, you’ll directly report to Sonia Afonso, Manager IP Paralegal.
About you

You have a strong background in intellectual property law. You have excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You are meticulous. You are a team player. You also bring the following:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as paralegal is preferred
• Degree in Applied Sciences, HBO, Law
• Willingness to work in an international environment with colleagues from all around the world
• Fluent English
• Proficiency in Word, Powerpoint, Excel and databases/document management systems
