Description:

Title: Paralegal - Intellectual Property Litigation
Work Model: Hybrid
Location: Downtown San Diego, CA / Orange County, CA / Palo Alto, CA
Years of Experience: 5+ years
Salary: $80,000-$115,000/year (negotiable based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation team in any of our California offices. Our offices are located in Downtown San Diego, Del Mar, Irvine, and Palo Alto.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of Commercial Litigation experience in a Support Staff based role.
  • Strong experience in Relativity or similar document review platforms is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Trial Director, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and legal research tools like Westlaw and Lexis Nexis is expected.
  • Candidates need strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to problem-solve independently.
  • Self-motivated, determined, and capable of working autonomously, with a commitment to client service excellence.
  • We seek confident, competent, flexible candidates who are eager to grow and learn with the team.
  • A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program is required.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ideal candidate should have trial support experience in trial and/or arbitration settings.
  • Must be skilled in managing large case files, preparing briefs, and coordinating with attorneys and staff for client needs.
  • Close collaboration with our internal eDiscovery team is required.
  • Role includes document review, document management, and managing a diverse, large caseload.
  • E-filing and paper filing experience in Federal Circuit, Court of Appeals, Federal, State, TTAB, PTO, and ITC courts (including sealed filings) is ideal.
