As a Paralegal within Pomerleau’s legal team, you will be called upon to coordinate the activities of the Corporate Services.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Preparation and/or revision of corporate documentation related to mergers, acquisitions, tax or corporate reorganizations, shareholder plans, incorporations, dissolutions;
- Coordination with external advisors and review of corporate documents prepared by external advisors.
- Supervision of the maintenance of the corporate entities of the company’s group;
- Responsible for the compliance of information in the centralized corporate database and for updating corporate organizational charts;
- Preparation of closing agendas/follow-up lists and documentation for the closing session;
- Corporate verifications and analyses, as well as research at the REQ and Corporations Canada;
- Interdepartmental coordination;
- Participation in the drafting and implementation of the legal policies and procedures in force within the company;
- Direct supervision of a support employee;
THIS ROLE COULD BE FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE
- College-level training in legal techniques or equivalent;
- Over 5 years of experience in corporate law, with transactional experience;
- Knowledge of concepts, terminology, and procedures in the legal field;
- Knowledge of the registries of all Canadian provinces;
- Excellent proficiency in both French and English, in writing and verbally;
- Good knowledge of computer tools and software related to the work;
- Demonstrate judgment, initiative, leadership, autonomy, versatility, and teamwork;
- Have attention to detail, good priority management, and resourcefulness;
- Experience with the Quebec Building Authority (RBQ) and the Public Procurement Authority (AMP) is an asset;
- Analytical mindset focused on solutions;
- Have a good ability to work under pressure and execute tasks within a tight deadline;
