Description:
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Paralegal based in Salem, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be involved in various legal procedures, including case management, invoice processing, subpoena preparation, and legal correspondence. This position will be part of a tight-knit team and will require strong attendance.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and follow up on subpoenas in accordance with legal standards
- Send out invoices as part of financial management tasks
- Use case management software, such as Leep, to manage and monitor legal cases
- Engage in template-driven outreach correspondence to facilitate communication
- Review and file medical records as part of general paralegal work
- Utilize skills in legal assistant tasks and claim administration
- Manage calendars and schedules to ensure smooth operations
- Execute billing functions accurately and timely
- Utilize Adobe Acrobat and Aderant for various tasks
- Brief legal teams and other stakeholders on case developments and updates.
- Proficiency in Aderant and Adobe Acrobat is required.
- Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is necessary.
- Experience with Case Management Software is expected.
- Skills in CompuLaw are a must.
- Ability to handle Billing Functions accurately is required.
- Demonstrated experience in Briefing and Calendar Management is needed.
- Proven experience in Claim Administration.
- Excellent Communication skills are essential.
- Experience with processing Subpoenas is necessary.
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant is expected.
