Description:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal in Dallas, Texas. This role involves working on cases related to medical malpractice and product liability in the healthcare sector. The candidate will have the chance to fully engage in case management, from beginning to end, with a heavy focus on client interaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage cases involving catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability
- Interact with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information
- Utilize Case Management Software to organize and track case progress
- Manage calendars for court dates, meetings, and other important deadlines
- Communicate effectively with all parties involved in cases
- Provide legal advice on healthcare-related issues
- Assist in representing physicians and healthcare professionals before licensing boards
- Prepare litigation documents and handle civil litigation tasks
- Utilize your Civil Litigation Experience to defend healthcare liability claims
- Work on defense litigation matters as required

- Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Malpractice paralegal
- Proficiency in Case Management Software is mandatory
- Excellent Calendar Management skills needed
- Strong written and verbal Communication skills required
- Must have experience in Civil Litigation
- Should have experience summarizing medical records and working with experts
- Defense Litigation experience is great, but you may join from the plaintiff side too
- Must be adept at managing Litigation Documents
- It is required that you enjoy working on several cases at the same time from start to end
