We are looking for a diligent Paralegal to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This role involves diverse responsibilities such as drafting pleadings, managing calendars, and maintaining case files, among other tasks. The Paralegal will also engage in e-filing and discovery processes, contributing to the smooth operation of our legal team.
This firm only offer 2 weeks paid vacation and holiday pay if firm is closed, no additional benefits

• Draft legal documents and pleadings with precision and attention to detail
• Manage and maintain calendars to ensure all important dates and deadlines are met
• Engage in e-filing processes to ensure all necessary documents are submitted in a timely manner
• Maintain case files, ensuring all important information is properly organized and easily accessible
• Respond to discovery requests and prepare discovery responses as needed
• Contribute to trial preparation, utilizing strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Utilize communication skills to effectively respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Leverage experience in construction litigation to contribute to relevant cases
• Uphold the standards of the registered BAR paralegal.
• A minimum of five years of experience in a paralegal role or similar legal profession.
• Proficient in calendar management and managing schedules for legal professionals.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings and other legal documents.
• Experience with e-Discovery, including managing discovery responses and requests.
• Familiarity with calendaring systems and ability to maintain and manage professional calendars.
• Previous trial experience, including preparation for trials.
• Ability to e-File and manage e-Filing systems effectively.is a MUST
• Knowledge of construction and construction litigation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Paralegal certification is a MUST.
