Description:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our team in South San Francisco, California. This role primarily involves supporting legal, compliance, and IP related matters in the context of our industry. The Paralegal will act as the primary contact of our legal team, assisting in fund-raising activities, SEC filing related matters and providing legal advice on general corporate and commercial matters.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for Legal in handling day-to-day operational and clinical trial related legal documents.
- Assist in fund-raising activities such as data room setup and maintenance, legal due diligence, and collaboration with the transfer agent.
- Support the General Counsel in SEC filing related matters.
- Provide legal advice on general corporate and commercial matters.
- Handle other legal tasks or projects as assigned from time to time.
- Utilize Case Management Software for efficient workflow.
- Ensure compliance with legal standards in all operations.
- Use knowledge of Clinical Trial Agreement and Operations for related legal tasks.
- Apply knowledge of Biopharmaceuticals industry.
- Proficiency in Case Management Software for organizing and managing legal cases
- Demonstrated understanding of Compliance in the legal field
- Experience with Clinical Trial Agreement drafting and management
- Familiarity with Clinical Trial Operations, preferably in the biopharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of SEC filings and related procedures
- Background in the Biopharmaceuticals industry, particularly in legal or paralegal roles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Bachelor’s degree in law or related field preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
