Description:
Reputable law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with eDiscovery experience to join their team in Sacramento, California. This role is crucial in enhancing our legal operations and involves managing electronically stored information (eDiscovery), preparing for trials, and conducting legal research. As a Paralegal, you will get the chance to work closely with our legal team and utilize cutting-edge eDiscovery platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and analyze discovery documents for legal procedures
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and assist in case management
- Utilize eDiscovery platforms and tools to review, organize, and analyze documents
- Draft legal documents and prepare for trials, ensuring all details are accurate and well-researched
- Comply with the regulations outlined in CA’s Business and Professions Code 6450
- Utilize case management software to maintain updated and accurate records
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of billing functions
- Leverage your civil litigation experience to support legal processes
- Prepare for trials by reviewing and organizing necessary documents
- Use your eDiscovery skills to review and manage electronically stored information.
- Possess proficiency in Case Management Software
- Ability to perform Billing Functions efficiently
- Experience with Ediscovery tools
- Proficient in Document Review
- Experience in Trial Preparation
- Civil Litigation Experience is required
- Paralegal certification or equivalent work experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- High level of attention to detail
- Familiarity with professional services industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
