• Schedule: Full time, 36 hrs, 3-12 hrs shifts, Day shift, 7A-7P, rotating weekends

• Location: Wichita, KS

REQUIREMENTS

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date OR job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
• Paramedic credentialed from the Kansas Board of Emergency Medical Services (KSBEMS) required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
• Drivers License credentialed from the Kansas Department of Motor Vehicles preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required

Provide basic and advanced life support treatment, care and evaluation of patients.

• Identify, intervene, and stabilize the ill or injured patient under the direction and in collaboration with a physician and/or Registered Nurse.
• Initiate and implement interventions based on transport team protocols. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition and treatment, as appropriate.
• Provide population specific education to the patient and family about the patient’s illness and therapeutic interventions.
• Inspect, maintain and care for equipment to ensure safety of the transport team, patients and public.
