Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated parenting practitioner to come and work in our integrated Stockport Family service.
The parenting team provide and coordinate a range of evidence parenting programmes across Stockport and provide one to on clinic parenting support for families. As we move in a Family Hubs arrangement you will be focusing on community delivery of parenting programmes and provide consultation and parenting support to our integrated 0-19 teams and specialist social care and education services.
There is opportunity to join our exciting Invest In Play Programme and Stockport parenting team have become the first level 4 fidelity facilitators of this international programme.
To take a specialist practitioner role in the delivery of effective early intervention parenting support to improve outcomes for children and families, with particular emphasis on those who are vulnerable to poorer outcomes
To support the Parenting Team Leader in the co-ordination of parenting programmes , overseeing referrals, triage process and liaison and consultation with multi agency professionals
To deliver specific evidence-based parenting programmes including Invest in Play programmes and 1:1 interventions in Parent Support Clinics.
