YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to direct both vehicle (including busses) and pedestrian traffic
  • Previous experience in parking lot operations is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of ski resort operations an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, positive attitude & the ability to work both as a team member and independently.
  • Flexibility and the ability to assume a variety of tasks as required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Able to travel to a site not serviced by public transportation.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
  • A valid Ontario Drivers Licence, minimum Class “G2”, with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract is required. *Abstract completed by Conservation Halton.
  • Successful candidates must provide own CSA approved safety footwear prior to first day of employment *Partial reimbursement provided in accordance with the Safety Workwear policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and control both automotive and pedestrian traffic to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow
  • Greet and provide general information to guests and assist with questions or concerns as needed
  • Assist with general maintenance, snow removal, and cleanup duties, as well as set-up, takedown, and operations for special events and functions
  • Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals
  • Other duties as assigne
