As a charity of The Hospital Research Foundation Group (THRF Group), THRF Group – Parkinson’s are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team as a Nurse Specialist. This role provides individualised support to people living with Parkinson’s Disease in the community.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Nurse and Healthline Lead, key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualised support to people in the community living with Parkinson’s Disease.
- Facilitating small support groups within Residential Aged Care facilities and the community for people living with Parkinson’s and their families.
- Hosting regular education seminars with allied health and medical professionals on Parkinson’s Disease and how to support people living with this condition.
- Actively promote THRF Group – Parkinson’s services to key stakeholders and the wider community.
- Connecting with consumers, families, support coordinators to maximise client outcomes.
