Description:

PART QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT / ACCOUNTS TECHNICIAN

An opportunity has arisen for a part qualified accountant/accounts technician to join the Brian Geary Toyota team in Limerick. This is a dynamic and challenging role with continuous development on offer for the successful candidate.

The role will involve working closely with all departments to manage bookkeeping, cash management, finance proposals, VAT reporting, and management accounts. The role would require: -

  • The production and delivery of high quality, efficient bookkeeping, and accounting services
  • Responsibility for debtors and creditors reconciliations including the processing of invoices and reconciliations of suppliers’ statements
  • Assist in the daily cash management and bank reconciliation processes
  • Daily involvement with the Sales team on processing finance proposals
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Preparation and submission of Revenue returns
  • Develop and maintain analytical metrics and KPIs for the Company
  • Other ad hoc reporting/duties as required

Skills & Experience

  • Part-qualified Accountant or Qualified Accounting Technician
  • 2+ years’ experience gained in a similar role in a business environment.
  • High degree of computer literacy with experience in MS Office (Excel) essential
  • Excellent data analytical skills
  • Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communicator with experience in engaging with customers, colleagues, management and external service providers
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-starter capable of working in a close-knit team
