Responsibilities:

The Parts Sales Manager is responsible for managing the sales and distribution of Manitou Group (Manitou & GEHL) parts and attachments.
This position requires a high level of customer service, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Parts Sales Manager will develop and maintain relationships with Manitou and GEHL dealers, oversee dealer’s inventory, provide dealer’s stock analysis and recommendation based on the existing machine fleet. The Parts Sales Manager is also responsible to ensure that all dealer orders are accurate and push internal spare parts logistic center to ensure on time delivery.
The successful candidate is also responsible for implementing parts and attachments sales targets in SCAP (Sales & Commercial Action Plan) and support Regional Sales Managers in dealer’s annual assessments DEP (Dealer Elevation Plan). He is the African dealer’s first point of contact for all topics related to Manitou Group parts and attachments.
In collaboration with the After Sales Regional Managers and the Regional Sales Managers, they will achieve as a team increased sales of Manitou Group branded products & services, enhance brand engagement, and drive dealership profitability.
This position reports to the Managing Director for North & Central Africa, with dotted lines to the MEA Parts Manager and the South Africa General Manager. He is ideally based in France, in the Ancenis area. Extensive amounts of overnight travel, sometimes week-ends, is required throughout the region. The region includes the entire African continent to the exception of the area covered by South African Manitou Centers.

You will :

  • Grow parts and attachment sales
  • Set dealer’s sales targets and motivate dealer’s parts sales teams
  • Oversee dealer’s inventory management and stock control
  • Drive and boost usage of parts international challenge : Master Program
  • Implement and train dealers on parts dedicated Manitou IT tools
  • Organize your travel plan across the region
  • Visit dealers and customers 60% of you time or more
  • Participate to national and international exhibitions wherever necessary
  • Monitor and analyze parts sales performance and trends
  • Ensure regular feedback and reviews of your business

  • Dealer’s parts teams (Outside sales, warehouse managers, marketing & after sales.
  • Key accounts & dealer’s end customers

And internal Manitou teams

  • Manitou Group corporate parts team
  • Aftersales teams at both corporate and subsidiary level (NCA & MSA)
  • NCA (North & Central Africa) sales and service team
  • MSA (Manitou South Africa) sales, service, and parts team
