JOB TITLE: Accounts Assistant
REPORTS TO: Finance Business Partner
HOURS: Part time- 8/9 Hours a week worked over 2 to 3 days, flexible on days and hours worked.

YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Previous experience in a similar role ideal or demonstrable transferable skills;
- Experience in the business services industry or a related sector is desirable;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members;
- Tenacious, can-do attitude;
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities; and
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and accounting and reporting software (Business Central preferred)
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 (C) or above
Responsibilities:
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
We are looking for a part -time Accounts Assistant ( initially a 6 months fixed-term contract with the possibility of a permanent role after this) who will be essential in supporting the Researchbods Agency within the STRAT7 Group, primarily focusing on managing the high volume of projects and transactions efficiently. The successful candidate will be adept at processing large quantities of transactions swiftly and accurately.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of managing various financial tasks efficiently and accurately. Reporting directly to the Finance Business Partner, the role requires close collaboration with both the Finance Business Partner and the Researchbods Finance Team.
We are looking for someone who has ideally had experience in a similar role and is proficient in using Microsoft Excel and strong numerical skills, but we are also interested in hearing from you if have had previous work experience in an environment where attention to detail and working with numbers and excel are essential elements of the role. You may also have just finished education / graduated and can demonstrate strong numerical skills and proficiency using excel from your studies. This role may also be suitable for career returners looking to get back in to the work place after a career break.
This is a part time role for up to 8/9 hours a week worked over 2-3 days ( between Monday and Friday). We can be flexible on the days and hours worked each week although would require these to be worked between 9-5.30pm and between Monday and Friday. Ideally you would have set working days each week to enable us to plan workloads within the team but can offer some flexibility when needed on this as required.
We would also need you to be able to work in our central Leeds office at least once a week.
YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Purchase Invoices and approvals;
- Payment runs for Researchbods and assist with bank postings;
- Charge card, Credit card and People HR management and related reconciliations;
- Credit control and cash collection;
- Expenses, UK travel bookings and reporting for Researchbods; and
- Supplier Setup and onboarding.
