Description:
Beck Construction & Excavation Inc is seeking to fill the role of a part time Administrative Assistant focusing on the dual role of Fleet Administration and Executive assistant.
The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated, proactive, reliable, detailed, and personable. Ideal applicant will be well-versed in technology and comfortable working with Microsoft office, android devices, and various apps. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, the ability to prioritize tasks, maintain discretion and confidentiality, and have a positive, can-do attitude. They must be resourceful, solution-oriented, driven by success, and able to work independently with little direction. This dynamic role requires the ability to stay on top of details and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, low-drama, and confident.
A fleet administrator oversees all commercial vehicles, drivers, and related assets, including their operations, conditions, external and internal policy compliance, and overall performance. Fleet administrators ensure that vehicles and drivers are being utilized to their fullest potential in a safe and cost-effective manner. This position is responsible for managing the compliance of all policies and procedures related to Fleet Management. Including policy management and enforcement.

- Knowledge of Motor Carrier and DOT Regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate on the phone with company owner on a daily basis regarding email and phone communications received and crew and fleet previous workday’s history
- Answer phones
- Assist owner with email response.
- Oversee all Fleet repairs, services and work orders
- Oversees the fleet for efficiency by using the GPS platform and works directly with the Maintenance team and CEO
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintain company fleet and files including registrations, service records, safety’s, etc.…
- Maintain company fleet GPS systems
- Enforce fleet policies and procedures
- Files, Copy, Fax and Scan Documents as needed
- Keep office area, break room and common areas clean and stocked
- Performs all other duties as assigned
