Part Time Bank Teller

We are currently seeking a PT Bank Teller to be part of our team in the banking industry, located in Framingham, Massachusetts. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity and is centered around providing excellent customer service and handling various banking transactions.

• Assisting customers with safe deposit box access based on branch configuration
• Efficiently processing customer deposits including verification of cash and endorsements, and providing customers with receipts
• Handling cash transactions for both customers and non-customers
• Facilitating and recording the sale of monetary instruments such as official bank checks
• Processing foreign currency purchases and sales with accuracy
• Ensuring proper filing of all government-mandated reports related to large cash transactions and the sale of all monetary instruments
• Processing different types of loan payments and credit card cash advances
• Engaging actively in the sales process by identifying potential financial needs for customers and non-customers and making appropriate referrals
• Accurately managing customer accounts and taking the necessary actions.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a banking or related role
• Proficiency in handling cash activities and bank transactions
• Experience with bank balances and deposits
• Skilled in providing excellent customer service
• Familiarity with retail banking systems and procedures
• Ability to answer inbound calls promptly and professionally
• Strong skills in cash handling and management
• Must be able to uphold the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
