Description:

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Apt technical and computer skills, with familiarity with educational technologies considered an asset

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advance Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, and a member of in good standing with the College of Medical Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study is an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Subject matter expertise in Medical Laboratory Technology
  • Comprehensive understanding of the medical laboratory technology field and related experience in educational environment is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the MLT/MLA program’s Credential Validation Service (CVS) application and organize the EFG for the CVS application submission
  • Provide expert feedback on the program’s Learning Outcomes, potential courses, and equipment necessary for student learning
  • Collaborate with faculty and industry partners to ensure the program meets academic and industry standards
  • Participate in meetings with the program development team and contribute to strategic planning efforts for the MLT/MLA progra
