Description:
WHAT MAKES YOU A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE?
- Post-Secondary education in Business Administration or in a related discipline from an accredited educational institution.
- Experience multi-tasking in a customer service-related position is considered a strong asset.
- Proven ability to work well and cooperatively in a team environment.
- High level of professionalism and discretion.
- Exceptional computer skills - SAP knowledge is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Financial understanding of Accounts Receivable.
- Ability to take initiative and work pro-actively with minimal supervision.
- Must hold and maintain a valid Ontario class “G” driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
- Preference will be given to candidates with an understanding of the electrical utility industry.

Canadian Niagara Power Inc. (CNPI), located in beautiful Fort Erie, is looking for a motivated self-starter, who has a positive attitude, and a desire to provide great customer service to cover a maternity leave vacancy. The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively deal with people in a professional manner, while complying with Company policies and procedures with respect to relevant legislation and regulations regarding the Electric Industry.
KEY FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE:
- Provide Customer Service to internal and external customers.
- Perform basic administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and processing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Provide relief coverage to other Customer Service Representatives as needed.
- Basic A/R functions such as post payments, balance the daily financial transactions, and prepare bank deposits.
- Perform work in accordance with all relevant legislation, regulations and other requirements.
- Other duties as required.
