JOB SUMMARY

The Part-time Deputy Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of our care facility, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained for all residents. This position involves working closely with the management team to implement care plans, supervise staff, and enhance the quality of life for our senior residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for senior care, with experience in home care or assisted living settings.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a senior care, nursing home, or assisted living environment.
  • Strong understanding of care plans and medication administration processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge of home care practices and regulations governing senior care facilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an empathetic approach to resident interactions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a focus on quality care delivery.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care would be advantageous but not essential.
    This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of seniors while fostering an environment of compassion and professionalism within our facility.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour

  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualised care plans for residents.
  • Supervise and support care staff to ensure compliance with care standards and regulations.

  • Oversee medication administration and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence among residents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate medical services for residents.
  • Ensure that all health and safety protocols are adhered to within the facility.
  • Participate in staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance.
  • Address any concerns or complaints from residents or their families promptly and effectively.
