Description:
The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Part-Time (0.39 f.t.e.) Educational Assistant at École Springfield Elementary School. This position will commence as soon as possible and will continue until June 27, 2025. The successful candidate will be working with students in primary grades including a French immersion classroom.
École Springfield Elementary School is located in the Town of Peace River and has an enrollment of approximately 320 students. Programming at the school consists of English, French Immersion and French Second Language programs for Grades K-4 students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent would be an asset
Experience and/or training working in working with students in a school setting
SKILLS:
Ability to work with children in group settings and one-on-one situations
Ability to work with children with varying needs
Excellent communication skills
Experience working in a classroom setting
Ability to work as part of a team
REQUIREMENTS:
Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
