We are now seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Finance Administrator to join our company and support the Finance team.
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent, or progress toward becoming a qualified accountant.
- At least 12 months of experience in a financial administrative or related role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced expertise in Excel, is required.
- Dependable, professional, and highly driven individual.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to organize and manage tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Part-Time Finance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role is ideal for a finance professional looking for flexibility in their work schedule while contributing to a dynamic and growing company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processing Supplier Transactions: Manage supplier invoices and payments, including posting and allocating them in Sage and handling online banking transactions.
- Purchase Order Payments: Approve purchase order payments ensuring compliance with established approval processes.
- Credit Control and Vendor Management: Oversee credit control activities and manage the setup of new vendors.
- Financial Reconciliations and Month-End Closing: Perform bank and petty cash reconciliations and manage month-end journal entries.
- Audit Coordination: Collaborate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and responses to queries during year-end audits.
- Payroll Assistance: Assist with payroll duties, including running reports, calculating gross-to-net figures, and managing Revenue reporting.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, and ensure all financial transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
- Budgeting and Reporting: Generate financial reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
