There are a lot of part-time roles out there where you’re just viewed as plugging a gap in the team – why should you not be able to have a fulfilling career just because you need reduced hours?
90% of the business here have a young family and responsibilities outside of work – the MD himself has recently welcomed a baby boy into the world, so he knows exactly what it’s like to need to dash off to deal with parental duties!
So, he doesn’t want anyone worrying about needing to leave early and log back on later as he understands the importance of family life!
You will support the Finance Manager who is also part-time so you must be able to commit to 3 working days (two of which need to be in the Manchester office) however, aside of this they will be all ears when discussing hours that work for you.
Role will involve complete management of the transactional finance so you must have experience in ledger accounting, VAT returns and using Xero - it is a pre-requisite that you have working knowledge of the system and I’m only interviewing candidates that can demonstrate this.
Think of this as something for yourself; yes your family-life comes first but if you still want to feel empowered in the workplace, get out of the house and spend some time in the city centre, this is a part-time role out of the ordinary!
