JOB TITLE: PART-TIME FOOD PREPARATION LAB/KITCHEN ASSISTANT
Location: Naas, Co. Kildare
Hours: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu)
Rate of Pay: €16.50 per hour

Innovate Solutions, established in 1998, is a leading consumer and sensory research service provider based in Ireland.
We are currently seeking a part-time Part-Time Food Preparation Lab / Kitchen Assistant to support the tasting panel in organizing and conducting product tasting sessions. This role is based at our client’s site in Naas, Co. Kildare, and is particularly suited to individuals who can commit to a regular part-time schedule and have experience in food handling in a professional capacity.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Comfort working with and preparing a variety of food and beverage samples.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and Excel computer applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to following instructions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- HACCP training would be an advantage, but can be provided.
- Strong eye for Health & Safety

Responsibilities:
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Assisting the panel leader in preparing for sensory tasting sessions.
- Labelling cups for food and beverage samples.
- Preparing food and beverage samples for sensory sessions.
- Setting up sample trays, serving food and beverage samples to a team of expert tasters.
- Disposing of food and beverage samples after tasting sessions, as instructed by the panel leader.
- Ensuring the lab kitchen and sensory rooms are clean, organized, and fully operational.
- Adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.s).
