Description:
Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Part Time Full Charge Bookkeeper role for a small property management and hospitality company. The owner is seeking someone with QuickBooks experience to handle the 25-30 hours per week worth of accounting for their multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, preparing a financial and cash flow management experience. Day to day responsibilities include maintaining and closing the books for multiple LLC’s, (including both cash and accrual basis accounting); Reporting to the owner on business operations; reconciling transactions and bank accounts; paying bills and allocating expenses to correct entities and filing the sales, personal property and room taxes. - Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
- Experience in Journal Entries and Accrual Accounting
- Expertise in Cash Flow Management
- Proficient in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgment calls
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in accounting or related field is preferred
- Experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper of at least five years
