Part-time High School Program ELL/Humanities/Math/Science Online Facilitators

We are currently looking for part-time Online Facilitators for our high school blended learning programs. Candidates should be comfortable working with G10-12 students in the areas of ELL, Humanities, Math, Chemistry and/or Physics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• Have at least 1 year of experience working with high school ELL students in an instructional setting
• Have excellent English written language and fluent oral communication skills
• Comfortable using computers and technology
• Have excellent organizational skills, creativity and adaptability
• TESL certification preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• provide interactive lessons and activities in the classroom based on content as created by the course teacher
• ensure student understanding of content & identifying needs for reinforced learning of course content
• provide targeted feedback to students’ work
• ensure student engagement in the classroom
• liaise with Xspace management staff to oversee student progress
• maintain detailed records of students’ progress and classroom performance
