Description:
We are looking for a passionate Front of House Receptionist to join our luxury Hotel based in North Mayo.
Our reception team is the face of the hotel therefore it is of the upmost importance that you represent the hotel in a professional image at all times. We pride ourselves on providing great facilities and experiences to all our guests from the moment they check in to the time they depart. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting, communicating with internal and external departments, up selling hotel activities and facilities, handling feedback and generally ensuring that our guests experience is positive throughout their stay.

Main Duties
- Efficiently check in and check out all our guests providing the best customer service possible and accuracy.
- Greet all our guests in a friendly and polite manner and ensuring our guests needs are met and anticipated.
- Answer all incoming calls promptly and forward calls or messages to the intended person or guest.
- Provide all our guests and customers with information on the Hotel.
- Check email and answer incoming enquiries
- Deal with any issues or complaints to the guests/customers satisfaction ensuring that management is informed, the issue/complaint is closed off and followed up on.
- Inputting reservations on PMS System
Candidate Requirements
- Must be willing to do early and late shifts with flexibility
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role in a 4* property
- Must have excellent customer service skills and excellent telephone manner.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Excellent personal hygiene and grooming.
- Must have proven experience working with Microsoft Office - Office, Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluent English.
- A strong work ethic and a positive and friendly attitude.
