JOB DESCRIPTION
HR across Statkraft is continuously working to enable good organisational and people development, and the best possible day-to-day employee experience for our Statkraft colleagues. We are currently seeking an HR business partner to cover a 60% role for a colleague who will be on a parental leave. You will deliver proactive HR support to leaders and employees in Germany. You will be part of our experienced and dynamic local HR organisation, working together with great HR Business Partner and local HR Admin colleagues. While expertise in this field is advantageous, we prioritize exceptional collaboration skills and a high level of customer focus and a strong can-do attitude. As part of our local HR organization, you’ll navigate complex HR interfaces while ensuring adherence to group-wide as well as Germany-specific processes and regulations. To be successful in this role, you need to understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. You will help business leaders look around corners with evidence-based recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience. You will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and different countries.
Your tasks will involve:
- Support business leaders offering robust advisory concerning employer responsibilities, German HR legislation, local and global policies, and agreements in Germany
- Foster effective collaboration across various HR functions, including our Corporate HR functions, HR Service Delivery, and other local and international HR teams
- Collaborate within HR to provide expert service and advisory on aspects such as people and organization strategy, strategic workforce shaping, leadership & talent development, succession planning
- Provide proactive strategic as well as operational support to local management teams, ensuring alignment of HR initiatives with business objectives
- Develop and implement customized HR processes and concepts to address local needs while maintaining alignment with global strategies
- Participate in global HR initiatives to support the Corporate HR agenda, whilst representing local HR Germany
QUALIFICATIONS
- A relevant university degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience in both operational and strategic HR roles, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional support and guidance to leaders and employees
- Proven track record of working within international matrix organizations, navigating complex structures, and fostering collaboration
- Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a complex organization, demonstrating strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong business acumen and the ability to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leaders
- Collaborative and “can-do” mindset, with a demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively within cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal
