Job Title: Pre-ETS Trainer for High School Students with Disabilities
Location: Rappahannock, VA
2 hours/week (great supplemental income)
Pay: $25 - $30 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Description:
Bloom Consulting is seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-ETS (Pre-Employment Transition Services) Trainer to work with high school-aged students with disabilities in a high school setting. As a Pre-ETS Trainer, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop essential skills for transitioning from school to the workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons focused on job readiness, career exploration, self-advocacy, and workplace social skills.
- Implement curriculum tailored to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and participation.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with disabilities, particularly in a high school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for empowering students to succeed.
- Relevant experience or certification in special education, vocational training, or a related field is preferred.
