You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:
- Experience in customer service or relevant meat experience is an asset.
- Co-operative retail experience is an asset.
- You must be available for days, evenings and weekends
- Must be comfortable working with different types of equipment such as computerized wrapping machines, meat slicers, pricing equipment, step ladders, etc.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, have good manual dexterity and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work regularly in cooler temperatures due to products in department.

Responsibilities:
Provide safe, courteous, efficient and customer-focused service in our Meat Department.
- Responsible for packaging, wrapping, displaying and pricing of meat products for sale to customers. Ensures meats are packaged a timely fashion while maintaining product levels for quality and quantity
- Maintains and ensures compliance with Discovery Co-op standards, government food and sanitation, health and safety standards.
- Ensures all guests are provided with a prompt, professional, accurate, efficient and friendly service.
- To perform duties and responsibilities of a receiver
- To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude
- To be dependable for all scheduled shifts
- To ensure outstanding courteous guest service is provided at all times
- To perform other duties as assigned
