Description:
The Peace River School Division requires a Part -Time (0.75 f.t.e.) Office Manager and (0.10 f.t.e.) Information Specialist at Nampa Public School. This position will commence as soon as possible and continue until June 27, 2025.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization of the school’s functions, including book keeping, under the direction of the school’s administrative team. They will coordinate services for teachers, such as, busing, field trips, ordering supplies and other assigned duties. As a part of the office staff, having excellent interpersonal skills with the public is essential.
Nampa Public School is located in the town of Nampa approximately 450 kms northwest of Edmonton. The school services students in grades K-6.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma and education and/or experience working in a school office setting
Experience with online accounting and employee systems
REQUIREMENTS:
Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check

SKILLS:
Able to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines
Patient and helpful with the public, staff and students
Well developed interpersonal skills
Ability to liaise between school staff, divisional staff and outside agencies
Strong organizational skills
Strong verbal and written English skills
Ability to work as a member of a team and maintain a positive work environment
