Powersystems is an employee-ownedhigh voltage electrical engineering company. We specialise in electrical powerinfrastructure, grid connections and renewable energy generation. Due to ourcontinuing success, we have a pipeline of work into 2026 and beyond.

Responsibilities:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Liaise closely with payroll and provide payroll processing support asand when required
  • Calculate holiday payments for employees based on average earnings, inline with statutory provisions
  • Support processing of Operational employee timesheets
  • Process employees expense claims in line with company processes toensure employees are reimbursed correctly and on time
  • Administer mileage claims of employees accurately and efficiently
  • Provide general Accounts office supportProactively manage queries viaemail, phone and in person
  • Ensure all work is done within compliance with statutory requirementsand company standards
  • Contribute to the future success of Powersystems and clients
  • Proactively look at ways to enhance the service offered by the business,and improve the efficiency of company processes
  • Maintain a professional image at all times

HERES WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE:

  • Good working knowledge of Accounting packages, preferably Sage
  • Previous experience within an Accounts team, preferably within theconstruction industry
  • Computer literate with all MS Office packages
  • Highly proficient with MS Excel
  • Experienced in the processing of payroll
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to deal with alllevels within the Company
