Description:

We are looking to add a Part-Time Payroll Assistant to our Corporate Payroll team in Winnipeg, MB. Students are welcome to apply and can expect to gain administrative experience with exposure to Payroll, Human Resources and Finance within the transportation industry.
This position reports to the Manager, Payroll & Benefits, the Payroll Assistant role will work on a variety of assignments to support various weekly deadlines and a variety of hr and finance processes/projects. Some tasks could include but are not limited to: payroll data entry, maintaining files and records, receiving mail, tracking hours of service, processing trip jackets, assisting HR with recruitment (calling candidates/references), and assisting other areas with general administration duties.
The hours of work for this role will be 10-15 hours per week, Monday to Friday within daytime office hours. We are seeking someone who can work regularly work 10-15 hours per week in the office. We will work together to find days/times that work best for both you and the team.
