REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years experience in HR or people-focused role
  • Experience in employee engagement initiatives, recruitment, or managing HR processes.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and labor laws
  • Self-motivated to take initiative and ownership of your work
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools, such as Bamboo, Runn, Greenhouse, and Jira.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle various HR tasks such as onboarding, employee relations, and policy implementation.
  • Ability to shift between HR tasks (e.g., recruitment, employee support, compliance) efficiently

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding for select positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand talent needs and contribute to the development of recruitment strategies.
  • Oversee the Co-op program, including outreach to educational institutions, coordinating placements, and ensuring a positive experience for Co-op participants.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Co-op students, addressing their needs and providing necessary support.
  • Assist in day-to-day HR operations, such as employee data management and documentation.
  • Support the implementation of HR processes and initiatives.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of employee engagement activities.
  • Contribute to the coordination of team building events and recognition programs.
  • Publishing internal comms related to HR Initiatives
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR information
  • Coordinate training sessions and development programs.
  • Track employee participation in training initiatives.
  • Manage Co-op training and development programs
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in communicating policy updates and changes to employees.
  • Work with the Leadership on all tasks related to compensation and benefits
