As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will be an integral member of our dynamic healthcare team, working alongside licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional care to our patients. Responsibilities:

Assist in Patient Care: Under the guidance of licensed physical therapists, you will help patients perform exercises and therapeutic activities designed to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. You’ll provide hands-on support during sessions, ensuring patients are comfortable and confident in their exercises.
Prepare Treatment Areas: Set up and arrange treatment areas with necessary equipment and supplies before patient sessions. This includes organizing exercise tools, modalities, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Monitor Progress: Document and track patients’ progress during sessions, recording their performance and reporting back to the physical therapists. This data will contribute to personalized treatment plans.
Provide Emotional Support: Empathize with patients and offer encouragement throughout their recovery journey. Your positive attitude and motivation will uplift patients and keep them engaged in their rehabilitation.
Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
Educational Support: Instruct patients on proper exercise techniques and body mechanics, empowering them to continue their therapy exercises at home safely.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all therapy equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and calibrated, following infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature.
Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and exercise principles.
Ability to work effectively within a team and follow directions.
Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
