Hybrid Work: These positions require on-site presence and are not subject to hybrid work.
Note: These are part-time temporary Faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week) starting September 5, 2024 and ending April 28, 2025.
Fanshawe College’s Donald J. Smith School of Building Technology is seeking qualified faculty to teach Plumbing courses.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
• Excellent communicator
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
• Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
• Teaching experience with hybrid and/or online delivery preferred
• Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Trade Certification – Licensed Plumber (306A)
• Minimum 5 years’ recent plumbing experience
• Red Seal Licensed Plumber
• Teaching experience is an asset
