Come join our Team! We’re a well-established Property Management Company that manages multi-family buildings ranging from 20-200 units. As strong believers in promoting from within, we’ve built a great team and a true sense of community to work in. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing part-time property management professional to join our team as a Part Time Property Manager. Pacific North and South is a stunning 30 unit upscale property in the heart of Wallingford Neighborhood, with parking and water views.
Our ideal candidate will be seasoned in property management or real estate, possess a high level of integrity, take pride in their work performance, and have the ability to interact and work well with others. We offer a diverse work environment where new ideas are encouraged and hard work is recognized. Industry experience is desired, but not required. This is a great opportunity for secondary income for those already in the industry. Onsite living is not required, however we do offer our onsite staff members rent discounts as a perk of employment. Must live either inside the Seattle core, or a commutable distance with respects to site visits, showings, and on occasion emergencies. The position is hybrid, and has a flexible schedule that can easily fit around your needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of safety and protocols
- Basic understanding of minor and major maintenance needs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Flexibility with schedule
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Experience with property management software preferred
- Property Management or Real Estate experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Washington State Landlord Tenant Law preferred

Responsibilities:
- Market and lease available units, including ad creation and posting, responding to rental inquiries, and showing units
- Prepare and execute rental agreements, including move in and move out inspections in a timely manner
- Maintain all digital files in the property management software system
- Rent collection, including communicating with residents on payment plans, posting notices an following up on late rents
- Respond to residents with maintenance requests, and scheduling with vendors or maintenance personnel
- Oversee vendors who perform maintenance and cleaning in the building
- Interact with residents, vendors, peers and corporate team members with a friendly, positive attitude
- Perform routine property walks to ensure maintenance and custodial issues are promptly addressed
- Respond to incoming communication within 24 hours
- Have availability to assist residents during after hours emergencies, such as scheduling a vendor for leaks
