Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The temporary research assistant will analyze data collected through focus groups with migrant farm workers in North Carolina. This will involve qualitative and quantitative content analysis skills Spanish language fluency, and a background in sociology, with specific emphasis on migrant labor. The assistant will produce a data report that can be shared with project partners and support the article write-ups. The assistant will also develop a literature review and support overall publication creation to submit for a peer reviewed journal and will attend a weekly or bi-weekly meeting to report on project progress and brainstorm around problems and solutions.
