Pinnacle Group are looking for a vigilant Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our properties and residents. You will be joining our Security Team based in The Arndale Shopping Centre in Morecambe.
Your role will involve monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed reports. You will need to be observant, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills. This is a Part-Time Permanent Role of 17 hrs per week and the contracted shift are every Sunday 10.30 am – 5 pm & Monday 8 am – 7 pm with the option of gaining overtime to cover holidays and sickness

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid SIA Front Line SG/DS Licence
• First Aid cert
• You will need to evidence your honesty and reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
• Be able to access, control and manage a large crowd of people efficiently and quickly.
• Full 5-year UK checkable work history

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Carry out routine foot patrol of the centre
• Locking and unlocking premises
• Assist in deterring crime
• Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty
• Provide First Aid if necessary
• Security teams also needs to assist with cleaning in the mall by ensuring the loading bays and the floor area of the recycling is clean before the cleaners come onto shift, and sweeping and mopping and emptying bins.
