Description:
This position performs responsible, diverse paraprofessional clerical work in a support of a large Teaching/Learning Lab Center. Work is generally diversified requiring judgment to apply broader aspects of established policies, practices and procedures. Individual adapts existing procedures to meet new situations and works independently toward general results, devising new methods as required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Graduation from a standard high school (or equivalent).
Required Experience
At least one year of clerical or customer service experience.

Responsibilities:
- Maintains files and safeguard academic tests; distributes to students for completion as requested by faculty.
- Answers lab telephone, provides information and refers calls as appropriate.
- Assists disabled students and special needs students.
- Administers and monitors a wide variety of placement, course related, and certification assessments.
- Assists student in the general operation of lab and college technology.
- Issues support and instructional materials to students.
