Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
he Armache Laboratory at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Penn State University, is looking for an undergraduate student to work on malaria-related project.
The recruited student should be familiar with following techniques:
- E. coli bacterial culture
- Protein expression optimization
- Size-exclusion, ion-exchange and affinity chromatography
- Hands-on familiarity with computational techniques applicable in Electron Microscopy, preferably using CryoSPARC, Relion or CisTEM
The successful candidate will show independence to conduct research independently, collaborate with other users in the laboratory, and contribute intellectually to the laboratory’s research.
