JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate Researcher in urban climate science – The Pennsylvania State University
The Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University is accepting applications for undergraduate researchers. The student researchers will be asked to assist in climate science research.
The successful applicants will assist in our work to synthesize observations and atmospheric models to support ongoing research efforts. Computer-based data analysis skills (e.g., Matlab, Python) are required. Expertise in urban climate is beneficial. Training in atmospheric, environmental or physical sciences, physical geography or engineering is beneficial. The ability to work independently is required. Strong communication skills are also required. The work schedules are flexible.
