We are looking for a flexible part-time Warehouse Operative to work on an Annualised Hours contract. The role will be based at our Grange Park site (NN4 5FB).
What is an Annualised Contract, and how does it work?
As an Annualised Hours Contract employee, you can independently decide how many shifts you can do weekly. The current available shift pattern is Tuesday to Thursday, 10am – 6pm, an average of 32 hours a week.

- Main Duties of a Warehouse Operative
The Role:
- Receiving, picking and packing of pharmaceutical items.
- Participating in general warehouse duties where manual handling would be involved in the process.
- Continuously looking to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operation and customer service.
- Carrying out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse.
- Ensuring any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity.
- Ensuring all company procedures are adhered to, including absence, performance, standards of behaviour, taking due consideration of company values.
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity.
- Ensuring all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, raising any defects to your line manager.
- Ensuring 5S standards are always maintained.
Required skills
- Good level of general education, including good understanding of both written and verbal English
- Previous picking and packing experience.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Awareness of manual handling techniques is an advantage
- Flexibility to work shifts where required
